In-Service Training for 30 Community Teachers

WOFHRAD-SL with funds Action aid International undertake a week training for 30 community teachers in the Bombali District mainly Bombali Shebora, Magaimba N’duwahun and Sellah Limba Chiefdoms. The training covers, Child Centred Teacher Techniques (CCTC), Teacher Centred Teaching Techniques (TCTT), school management issues (mainly class room management, administrative problems, absenteeism, poor attendance etc). The topics were well handled by highly capacitated lecturers from both the teachers training college (Northern Polytechnic) and the university (University of Makeni). The training was a successful activity. The participants and facilitators expressed delight and satisfaction as to how the entire activity was organized; and thank the organizers and donors. At the end of the training, participants were given certificates of participation.
